15 MINUTE BOOTY LIFT 

AUGUST 8TH, 2022

You know we love a great booty workout at MBC and sometimes you just want a little something extra to do at home.

 This quick 15 minute workout requires no equipment but a simple and sturdy chair and a timer.  

The workout: 15 exercises at one minute each. Make sure to modify exercises as needed for any pre-existing injuries that you may have. 

1. Plie Squat 

2. Plie Pulse

3. SLD Right (Single Leg Deadlift)

4. SLD Left (Single Leg Deadlift)

5. Bridge

6. Bridge Pulses (make sure you dont over arch the back) 

7. Marching Bridge

8. Donkey Kick Right

9. Donkey Kick Left

10. Donkey Pulse Right

11. Donkey Pulse Left

12.  Narrow Squat

Smoothie Alert!

Pineapple Green Smoothie (Serves 1)

1 cup of chopped fresh or frozen pineapple

1 cup packed chopped spinach

1 cup green grapes frozen

Juice of 1/2 a lemon

1 tsp grated fresh ginger

1 tsp ground flaxseed 

1-2 Tbsp milk, milk alternative, water or coconut water. You can add more if needed. 

1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder. 

Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Add liquid as needed if the mixture is too thick. 

Pour in a glass and drink up! 

Finding time for fitness!

One of the top reasons people have for not being able to commit to a regular fitness routine is because they say they don't have enough time!  Even committing to just 5 minutes can help transform your routine.  Here are some ways to find time for your fitness:

1. Do it in the morning! 

2. Take a walk or workout during lunch.

3. Use household chores as cardio!

4. Do a quick body weight circuit while watching TV at night

5. Turn date night into fun nights with biking, hiking, skating

6. Have a plan for your nutrition and your workouts.

7. Make an appointment with yourself for your health and fitness

8. Find healthy food and exercise that you love

9. Get support or accountability from a friend, class or coach

10. Wear a fitness tracker and set daily movement goals.
